Voctoria and flood warnings wre issue d for rivers. Ovens (Vic.), Morses(?), Buckland (Vic.), King(?), Broke n(?), Goulburn (Weir?), Campaspe(?), Lachlan (?) and Avon (?). The me n were bunked in the annexe and the women in the van. The next mornin g we took off and managed to make Donald (Vic.) that night. Roads wer e flooded and being closed - caravan park at Donald under several metr es - we camped in a high part of the main street of Donald and were ab le to get to Horsham next day. Great adventure. Arnold bought a van ne xt year and on 15-4-76 we went to a beach south of Ardrossan (Yorke Pe n.,S.A.) for crabbing and then Port Vincent - 8 days. On 1/11/76 - 2 1 days - we did a trip to Flinders Ranges, got tangled with a rain an d thunder storm and had difficulty getting through several creeks to t he main road and then went to Port Lincoln. On 22-10-78 we went to th e Flinders Ranges again - 10 day trip. On 30-3-80 we started to NSW n orth coast and a week in Sydney but Arnold got discouraged after damag ed windscreen.
