- Clara never married but farmed with her two elder brothers until their deaths
in 1914. Durind the first war Clara moved in with her sister Emma and brother in
law
Richard Magor. She stayed with this couple till Richard's death and then with
Emma until her death.
In the "Doidge's Annual of 1887" for the western counties, on page 189 is the
start of a [Third prize tale for 1887]. It is called "The Heroine of Holyrood
Terrace; or, The Results of an Accident on Plymouth Hoe," by Amy Torre, of
Wadebridge. Amy Torre was Clara Edith Euphemia Williams.
